Beautiful Foods is where I share my kitchen creations (all gluten-free and dairy-free, whole food recipes), to help you cook delicious and nutritious foods. I also share my thoughts on nutrition, fitness, body image, relationship with food, and general health.
The purpose of Beautiful Foods, is to guide you toward a healthy relationship with food…to see you embrace the process of preparing healthy, delicious foods, that can nourish and fuel you for the race of life. With the name, “Beautiful Foods”, I want to convey the idea that food is a beautiful gift from God, and we can enjoy it without shame, guilt, or fear. Not to mention, how a sugary donut pales in comparison to the natural beauty of vegetables, fruits, and other whole foods!
God created us as physical beings, with physical needs and desires. He also gave us a mind, a spirit, and emotions. When it comes to our health, we must take a holistic approach. That’s what I’m all about, as I share and delve into topics like eating healthy, exercise, stress, body image, and more.
I don’t claim to know it all, or do everything perfectly “healthy” 100% of the time. Though, I used to think I had to (a story for another time).
